Alexei's Diner & Cafe- definitely one of the best American diner-style places in Marikina I can vouch for! Craving for a heavy and tasty meal or just want to hang out with friends over coffee and dessert? This is one of those places you'd want to put in your priority list. I've frequented the place for years.
It's located at #7 Gil Fernando Ave. in Marikina City, between Marquinton and Marikina Engr. Building. You know that street that has a
Tapsi Ni Vivian near Sta. Lucia Mall and Robinson's Metro East? Just keep moving forward from there and when you cross the Sumulong Hi-way intersection, you'll eventually find it on the ride side.
Some of the seats outside really remind me of those in MacLaren's from How I Met Your Mother
The tall walls and the auto center logo outside might put you off, but the place is actually pretty nice once you go in. Somewhat American-styled, those who want to dine with the perfect weather outside can sit down on the spacious comfy area provided outside the cafe's entrance. And to top it off, they also have good Wi-fi connection!
Upon entering the cafe, the waiters and waitresses greeted us accordingly, offered us a seat and gave us the menu that comprised of mouth-watering American and Italian cuisines. The atmosphere was quite relaxing.
Their 30+ meals are categorized as: Burgers & Sammies, Munchies & Crunchies, Oodles' of Noodles, Rice Dishes, Yogurt Shakes, Milkshakes & Fruitshakes and Hot Drinks. Almost all the dishes between them are must-tries!

Again, no need to worry about parking!
From the first time I visited Alexei's, I've been back quite a couple of times already over the years. Of course I brought with me family and friends, and all they were able to give are positive feedback! So to those living nearby- Marikina, Antipolo, Cainta and Quezon City- do visit Alexei's Diner & Cafe now for a nice foodie time!
