Throwback time! I present to you one of my past favorite guitars: the Ibanez ART120! Sadly, I don't have it anymore but what I can say is that it's a pretty decent axe for its price.

It's light, sexy and can deliver very powerful and heavy riffs! Pretty much fits my taste of having a Les Paul-style guitar body, but at the same time it also possesses that distinct Ibanez tone that I really like. It has active Ibanez pick-ups to boot, but sort of sounds half-baked compared to the true and tested EMG ones. Still, for the price, you get your money's worth and more. Once you get the hang of it with your effects, it's pretty versatile.

I've had it for almost a decade, and it hasn't let me down since whether it be when jamming with friends or stage gigs. Being light and compact made it easier for me to carry around when commuting- a luxury I couldn't afford back then since all my lightweight guitars don't pack that tonal punch I want. That said, I still resorted to the heavy-duty ones.
